Adam & Eve Had The Ability To Make Choices :

(Genesis 3:1 KJV)
"Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.
And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

(Genesis 3:2 KJV)
"And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:"

(Genesis 3:3 KJV)
"But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden,
God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die."

(Genesis 3:4 KJV)
"And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:"

(Genesis 3:5 KJV)
"For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened,
and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."

(Genesis 3:6 KJV)
"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
and that it was pleasant to the eyes,
and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,
and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."

Eve's Choice To Disobey God Is Proven By Her Thought Process:

She Chose To Eat Of The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good & Evil
Because It Visually Appealed To Her
And Because She Wanted To Obtain The Wisdom She Thought It Would Give Her.

We Are Called To CHOOSE To Serve Our Creator, Our Maker, Our God
By Telling Others About Him :

(Joshua 24:15 KJV)
"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD,
choose you this day whom ye will serve;
whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood,
or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:
but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

It Is Not An Acceptable Excuse,
If We Refuse To Make A Determined Choice To Serve Our Creator God :

(1 Kings 18:21 KJV)
"And Elijah came unto all the people,
and said,
How long halt ye between two opinions?
if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him.
And the people answered him not a word."

Choose To Believe In And Serve God Of Heaven Today -

(Acts 11:23 KJV)
"Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad,
and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord."

The One God Who Made All People Is :

The God Who Abraham, Isaac & Jacob Pointed Us To,

The God Who Israel Points Us To,

The Messiah Of Israel, Jesus Christ.

It's Clear That The God Spoken Of In The Judeo-Christian Bible
Has Given To All Humans The Ability To Make Choices,

But Some Actions That Are Humanly Possible Should Not Be Considered An Option
Because Of The Harm They Cause :

(1 Corinthians 6:12 NKJV)
"All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful.
All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any."

(1 Corinthians 10:23 NKJV)
"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful;
all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify."

(1 Corinthians 10:24 NKJV)
"Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being."

For Example, A Wise Limit On Our "Freedom Of Choice"
Would Be To Refuse Anyone The Choice Or Option Of Practicing Slavery :

(Deuteronomy 24:7 KJV)
"If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel,
and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him;
then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you."

(2 Peter 2:3 KJV)
"And through covetousness
[ greed ]
shall they with feigned [ deceptive ] words make merchandise of you:
whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."
