When The Bible Speaks Of "Other gods", It Is Speaking Of False gods.
These Other, False "gods" Are Often Nothing More Than Humans
With Too Much Power Over Their Fellows :
Psalms 82:6-7 - the false gods were merely humans
Isaiah 41:23-24 - a challenge for the false gods to impress us
Ezekiel 28:2,9 - a man with a "god complex"
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 - Anti-Christ Politician will be a man with a "god complex"
To Overcome Our Fearfulness, We Need To Simply Obey The Biblical Command
