If You Attend A Christian Church Where The Cross Of Jesus Christ Is Never Mentioned,
Then Be Aware That Church May Have Lost It's Focus On It's Basic Purpose & Mission :

(1 Corinthians 2:1 KJV)
"And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom,
declaring unto you the testimony of God."

(1 Corinthians 2:2 KJV)
"For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified."

Similar To A Soldier
Who Willingly Puts Himself In Harm's Way To Provide Protection For Others,
Jesus Said That He Was Voluntarily Laying Down His Life
To Be A Ransom Payment For The Sins Of Humanity :

(John 10:17 KJV)
"Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again."

(John 10:18 KJV)
"No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of my Father."

As One Pastor Asked,
"Has It Ever Occurred To You That Nothing Ever Occurred To God ?"

In Other Words,
Jesus Was Not Surprised By The Events That Involved His Crucifixion.

Jesus Told His Disciples What Was Going To Happen Before It Came To Pass :

(Matthew 20:18 KJV)
"Behold, we go up to Jerusalem;
and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes,
and they shall condemn him to death,"

(Matthew 20:19 KJV)
"And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him:
and the third day he shall rise again."

(Mark 10:32 KJV)
"And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them:
and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid.
And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,"

(Mark 10:33 KJV)
"Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem;
and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes;
and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:"

(Mark 10:34 KJV)
"And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him:
and the third day he shall rise again."

(Luke 18:31 KJV)
"Then he took unto him the twelve,
and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem,
and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished."

(Luke 18:32 KJV)
"For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles,
and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:"

(Luke 18:33 KJV)
"And they shall scourge him, and put him to death:
and the third day he shall rise again."

It's Very Clear That Jesus Was Not A Merely Mortal Man,
But Was "The Arm Of The LORD" Extending A Hand Of Rescue To Humanity.

Only God Has Power Over Death,
And Many Witnesses Tell Us That Jesus Was Resurrected From The Dead :

(1 Corinthians 15:3 KJV)
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;"

(1 Corinthians 15:4 KJV)
"And that he was buried,
and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"

(1 Corinthians 15:5 KJV)
"And that
he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:"

(1 Corinthians 15:6 KJV)
"After that,
he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once;
of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep."

(1 Corinthians 15:7 KJV)
"After that,
he was seen of James; then of all the apostles."

(1 Corinthians 15:8 KJV)
"And last of all
he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time."

Biblical Proof Of His Resurrection From The Dead :

(Hosea 13:14 KJV)
"I will ransom them from the power of the grave;
I will redeem them from death:
O death, I will be thy plagues;
O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes."

(1 Corinthians 15:54 KJV)
"So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption,
and this mortal shall have put on immortality,
then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."

(1 Corinthians 15:55 KJV)
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

(Isaiah 26:19 KJV)
"Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise.
Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs,
and the earth shall cast out the dead."
